A highly individual cottage with antique furnishings located within a 10 mins stroll of the beach.
Beach Cottage is not only stunningly presented, the owners have made sure it is welcoming and comfortable as well as interesting too. The entrance hall/ boot room is spacious and perfect for shedding beach and picnic paraphernalia after a day out. The kitchen has all conveniences and a useful pantry – it opens into the dining room via a large archway which can be separated with folding doors. There is a TV, DVD and CD stereo in the sitting room artfully hidden in the corner cabinet – a most pleasant room and dual aspect. The stairs are original with narrow treads but not too steep and lead to the landing. All the bedrooms have natural flooring (sisal) and are furnished in a gentle Victorian style with brass beds, linen from Peacock Blue and antique furniture. There are distant sea views from some of the windows and one double room has an ensuite bathroom (with shower over).
The garden is wonderful. It is large with a mixture of a sunny lawn, fruit trees and deep shrubbery with a patio area.
